I was caught up in one today.  Hundreds of the buggers appeared and marched all over West End of Glasgow dropping limbs, dribbling and if you got too close they tried to gnaw you...

High points were an NHS "Give Blood" van going past and they stopped it in the street going (zombily) mental.  "...Blood.........bloooood!!....BRAINS!!!...."  hahahaha  I laughed long and hard.

They all wandered onto a football pitch at one point too and tried to eat the players.

Their rules for the day:

Ground rules:
1. NO ATTACKING BYSTANDERS! Keep your hands and general space to yourself. Don't get in the humans way!

2. NO WALKING ON THE ROAD OR IN TRAFFIC!
Keep to the pavement folks. Use the crossings and the wee green man.

3. DON'T MAKE A MESS!
Don't bring stuff that squirts 'blood' everywhere or you feel you can drop wherever you like. You're just littering in a themed way. Folk who are watching will get rather annoyed of being covered in red sauce.

4. MAKE IT FAKE!
Dragging axes and weirdy things like that is all very well but make it plastic. Probably best not to bring them at all unless they are attached to your head.

5. DO NOT TOUCH THE MONEY!
Dry humping bins and lamp-posts is all well and can be entertaining, but don't walk into shops or pubs moaning and stumbling. People get annoyed that way.

6. COUNCIL PERMITS AND THE LEGAL STUFF!
At the moment we don't need a license which is good. This is for fun so please don't bring a can and start rattling it for money (charity or otherwise), stand around dancing in the street with some zombie jazz band that came along, to do any of that we need a license.

7. ZOMBIES!
You're a zombie. Stumble, drag, moan, groan and lurch your way onwards. Its a bit of fun, so go on get your zombie on!

Just don't act like one of those idiots you see on a Saturday night walking down Sauchiehall street, shouting abuse and acting like a general fool. Ya dig?

Well i got an email on facebook about april time, looking for people to participate and people to teach, so dance teachers etc also for suggestions for suitable songs. I think they set the first meeting date, which was in one of the nightclubs in the city. But i didnt go so didnt hear any more about it

But i do get the odd 'suspicious' status update from my friends on facebook who i know are doing it saying " one two three dum dum dum" (im thinking they are drilling their steps)

...i wish i was a witch and out doing scary stuff

Me too, was chatting to a lass I know last night - she was going tonight as Penelope Pitstop, the full kit - and she never fooking invited me.  Bastardoss!

Couple of blokes I know are at a party tonight, one as al-Megrahi (the Lockerbie bomber) and one as that Fritzl bloke from Austria.  I admire their sense of drama if nothing else.....
