Well.. not plain exactly Ev, but kind of normal.    You're only getting to see guest arrived, they're not televising the wedding itself.  They've got a lovely day for it.

When is it?  I'll make suitable efforts to avoid it.  I'm looking forward to the royal family giving the country back at least a few hundred million pounds of the money it now seems the last wedding cost the economy.

Funny, we were all told how the last sycophancy-fest would usher in a feel-good factor and bring in lots of extra tourist $$$$$$s.  According to the hapless idiot ideologue who is our chancellor, it seems the royal wedding actually cost the country billions in lost revenue.

I will try to have a look in on the news. I hope the bride and groom enjoy their sunny day.

Oh, how classy, royalty as truly is, another branch of celeb culture.

A better sponsor's logo for that sponging institution would be FCUK.

I know, that was rubbish the way she was almost blanked out by the banner at the bottom of the window.

No, although I dislike the institution, she's certainly one of the better, down to earth ones and I'd agree that she doesn't play on the royal thing and has kind of made her own way through life to a certain extent.

I know.. they did say it was a private affair mind.... I'm recording the rest cos I need to go out - I want to see all the guests  (I still can't work out what Becky from Corrie was doing there!)     I expect there will be a nice spread of piccies in OK later though, so I'll have a shuftie at them.    I can't help it... I'm a sucker for weddings whosever they are.

Me too - and from what I saw the dress looked lovely - very modern - I guess Kate as future Queen had to be more regal and covered up (although I loved her dress too).

I just saw a snippet on the news, they all clomped a bit into the church didn't they, must be the cobbles

Zara looked lovely, not too sure about the big satin hem at the bottom of the dress though. Glad they had such a beautiful day for their wedding.
