Beatrice has let me down on the hat front
OK.. I'm watching...
Why?
I'm not in Edinburgh today because of her!
Beatrice has let me down on the hat front
Oh really, has she gone for the plain look?
Because I want to see what everyone's wearing, Fluffs! As I say.. Beatrice let me down.
Becky from Corrie was apparently the first guest to arrive... sounds like a strange assortment of guests. Princess Anne looks like she's used some palace curtains for her jacket again...

Well.. not plain exactly Ev, but kind of normal. You're only getting to see guest arrived, they're not televising the wedding itself. They've got a lovely day for it.
Camilla's outfit's nice, but she wins the hat stakes... she looks like the Statue of Liberty...
When is it? I'll make suitable efforts to avoid it. I'm looking forward to the royal family giving the country back at least a few hundred million pounds of the money it now seems the last wedding cost the economy.
Funny, we were all told how the last sycophancy-fest would usher in a feel-good factor and bring in lots of extra tourist $$$$$$s. According to the hapless idiot ideologue who is our chancellor, it seems the royal wedding actually cost the country billions in lost revenue.
S'ok Carnelian... it's in 10 minutes you've escaped it. It's in 10 minutes.
What are you watching it on? It's not on my TV.
it's on the BBC news channel Fluffs - they're all inside now though except the bride.
Oh Carnellian... I don't think we're footing the bill for this one.... the crowd are waving Union Jacks with the 'OK' logo

I will try to have a look in on the news. I hope the bride and groom enjoy their sunny day.

Yeah, just found it. Saw some recorded footage of the guests. Bea's begining to look a bit 'horsey'
Yeah.. they're all a bit 'clompy' - Zara kinda stomped a bit too. Dress looks nice though - what you could see of it. God.. I'm gonna have to watch again at the end to see them coming out.

Oh, how classy, royalty as truly is, another branch of celeb culture.
A better sponsor's logo for that sponging institution would be FCUK.
TBF she doesn't tout the 'royal' thing (I quite her) - I think she sees herself as a sportswoman more than a princess (which she isnt' anyway)

I know, that was rubbish the way she was almost blanked out by the banner at the bottom of the window.

No, although I dislike the institution, she's certainly one of the better, down to earth ones and I'd agree that she doesn't play on the royal thing and has kind of made her own way through life to a certain extent.

I know.. they did say it was a private affair mind.... I'm recording the rest cos I need to go out - I want to see all the guests (I still can't work out what Becky from Corrie was doing there!) I expect there will be a nice spread of piccies in OK later though, so I'll have a shuftie at them. I can't help it... I'm a sucker for weddings whosever they are.

Me too - and from what I saw the dress looked lovely - very modern - I guess Kate as future Queen had to be more regal and covered up (although I loved her dress too).
HI Soozy.. there's more pics on the Daily Mail site now. I thought they pretty much all looked nice - I think Kate looks great all the time (although she did look a bit skeletal in the green number she had on to the pre wedding bash yesterday) I loved Catherine Kelly's outfit too.. she's a mate of Mike Tindall from school.
Becky from Corrie is a long time school friend and lived in the same village as Mike
anybody know who the lady in blue is that arrived with Princess Anne and her Hubby and walked outta church with him ??
very plain but I think it was very nice and suited Zara well

Is the grooms nose really that bent? or is it a bad photo.

No,Katty - it's really that bent it's been broken so many times and i think he's decided to just keep it like that.

Blimey, he must have had some elbows, feet etc in his face.
Kaffy, I've seen what Princess Anne was wearing, I agree about the curtains.

... and Camilla? Statue of Liberty? I didn't notice the gaffe on the Beeb site, but I'll go look now.

I just saw a snippet on the news, they all clomped a bit into the church didn't they, must be the cobbles
Zara looked lovely, not too sure about the big satin hem at the bottom of the dress though. Glad they had such a beautiful day for their wedding.
Hahaha, see what you mean about the Statue of Liberty.

thanks Kaffy - of course - wasnt thinking too far and had forgotton about Mark's second wife
I'm gobsmacked! Somebody must have eventually noticed the error in the grammar, All the titles have been changed. I think they didn't know what the correct way to express the posesive was though as all the titles now say 'Zara Philips:[blah blah blah]
I think they did the right thing. As far as the public is concerned either you do or you don''t no difference . Their wedding was lovely and understated. It's the blooming papers and media who want to make it into something bigger.
