Within a week he has managed to invade the bed that Rachel and Keeley slept in... and tonight has been so cross with her that she gave up and slept in the bed next to Steve (he was somewhat provoked by yet more late nite chat)!

He is currently occupying said double bed with great enjoyment!

I think he is applying some of his tactical knowledge about WW2. If only Winston had him on side then, eh?

His problem is that he will have cemented another nomination vote from Rachel and the abuse he will get tomorrow from other FMs will cause serious collateral damage to him.

Hi Xochi
I think it is safe to say that that Ben has already established himself as a memorable housemate. (I include all the BB series in that.)
I think he has a bit of an edge over some of the other housemates, in that those who seem the most keen to target him and make his life a misery, are themselves very disliked by many voters and viewers.
Like him or not, I think he has been a major influence and talking point in a comparatively dull series.

Agree with you there brisket.  I thought he would be disliked outside the house, but I am pleasantly surprised to find that he is not.

Good on Ben and I hope he wins

But RacHEL will nominate him next week..oh and it is all her fault. Well said Video, and what's new? Rachel nominated him this week same old same old, good for you Ben
Absolutely.  As for him being a bully, that's a word used way too easily in BB and as far as I am concerned he isn't.

No that is not bullying, that is just being stubborn.  But... if you want to see it that way, then that's fine.  I don't though.

Oh and what squiggle has just said.

That's how I see it too.  There's been a few times when JJ, Dave, Steve and Nathan (when he was still there) have collectively attacked Ben for nothing but the hell of it.

G&P, I haven't seen any evidence to support the idea that Ben is bullying Rachel over the bed situation. If you had used the word stubborn or even selfish, I could have understood where you were coming from - but never bullying.
Incidentally, I think Rachel is one of the most inconsiderate HMs in there, waking everyone up with her foghorn voice and childish bedroom antics.

Totally agree with you Yogi.

Perhaps Rachel's behaviour could be deemed bullying?

IMO, Ben is not bullying Rachel: far from it. But hanging on to the bed when she has made it clear that she wants it back is a form of bullying behaviour. That sort of lack of co-operation is oppressive. But I shall not defend my corner any more. Ben is not a bully, but has bully-like behaviour. I can't quite express what it is I mean. Bit of a bummer on a forum!

However I agree with Smarting. Rachel should just reclaim the bed, either by sleeping in it earlier than Ben or moving her stuff onto it or something.

I don't think it's bullying but it is bl**dy irritating and annoying. If she kept waking me up, I would have had her hog-tied amd muzzled before now - and that would be bullying.

Oh me too!
