Oh it won't let me...it asks for the password which i put in for the account. i get this message

And without signing in it won;t let me look at anything...but when i put the password in it tells me its wrong...

Does it mean adult content?  I've not had any problems and I don't have a Google account but I don't look at adult content on You Tube.  Not that I'm virtuous in that way, just I can't be arsed to sign up.

Well if a youtube video has been flagged as being inappropriate for under16's, then it makes you sign in to youtube to watch them. As youtube is owned by google nowadays, the 2 are linked so if you have a google account you can use that to sign in

No need to sign in to anywhere to watch youtube.

Youtube has dropped your toob account and replaced it with your google account since google took over Utoob!
No need to worry, this is all part of Googles plans to take over all of the known universe and wont effect something as small as the internet in the long run!

I do have one hair that grows out of my chin, it's been doing it for years. I sometimes forget to check for it and then I'll go to the docs or summat and the receptionist will keep staring at me. The first time this happened I asked what she was staring at and if she wanted a bloody photograph and then she told me I had a hair in my chin and was quite amazed!

The thing was when she told me I was really matter of fact and said 'ohhh you've seen my beard!'. The reception area is screened off from the waiting area so all the people could hear was me talking about this woman seeing my beard. When I went to take a seat I got some very odd looks

I've had the same problem OP. When I went there a few days ago I was signed in to Youtube but was asked to verify my password to prove it was my account. I have an account there that I store vid clips in. I gave them my password but was still asked to sign up for a Google a/c. I have a Gmail a/c which I use for certain email so didn't see why I needed another Google a/c. I've been sent all round the houses the last few days and it's really annoyed me. I now have problems accessing my gmail a/c for email. Long problems/story short is that this is nothing to do with adult content as was suggested, it's about Google wanting to take over on the internet as I've seen on many occasions regardless of this time it's Youtube.

You can always store video clips in photobucket if you still have access to them.

I tried that Croc but no joy. 
It kept coming back to sign in with a google account.
I went to the help forum but I couldn`t access that either - because I don`t have a google account and it won`t allow me to open one.
I`m totally confused with it.

It doesn`t recognise my password either.

I have a Photobucket a/c so probably could, but when I opened a Youtube a/c to store clips it was because it was in the same area I was using so convenient to just click on Add to Favourites. I'm just finding this interference from Google very annoying

Yeah thats what i had but instead of entering the password I clicked on sign out in the top r/h corner and then it was ok.

Aaa...or try click on the browse button that takes you away from the sign in page
