I had a perm disaster too.. went from waist length to nasty mullet-looking above-the-shoulders  'do  ( I got away with it though, it was the 80s! )

Hair's a bit dodgy now, too, it's really long, and I'm prone to chopping it myself ( I stick it in a ponytail, chuck it forward, and snip, but the ponytail must've been squinty, cause it's a good two inches shorter at the left than at the right! Doh! )

but DAHLING..... it's an assymetrical cut!  People pay good money for them.

I wish you'd all stop going on about perms being so 80s.   Some of us can't get past that permed look, even without curlers and lotion  :bagoverheadsmiley:

Same here Yogi....... i was supposed to be what they called a *demi wave*.........

I think I got a tidal wave.

I can remember being in tears and my dad trying to console me by saying he had his wee lassie back - and that just made me cry more.
