Aww Ditty they still sell Burger Bites, my kids hate them.
Being nostalgic........I used to LOVE the chocolate covered crisps that were around when I was a kid, they were limited edition and only on sale for a few months but they were yummmmm. Oh and Discos with the wee sachet of flavouring.

Cheese and onion, doesn't have to be Walkers (I'm not crispsest, shame on some of you lot).

I have just found out Spar still do Burger Bites....
my closest Spar is on the high street in town... I am planning a Burger Bite town mission!
and... choc covered crisps - they sooo work!! I improvise & have ready salted crisps with alternate mouth fulls of choc! (not often, obviously... just when I am on a junk food frenzy)
Just to make it even worse ..................should I start one for 'Your favourite cheese?'

Tomato is my favourite (this week) but it isn't on the list - so I voted for bacon.

I take crisps more seriously than most people and therefore take an exploratory approach to the whole crisps issue. If I see a brand of cheese and onion I haven't tried I just have to try them. In this way, I have found many fine crisps of the cheese and onion variety including Walkers which, as you say, offer neither new or 'improved' versions of their latest incarnations. In their defence I will say I doubt they would sell many if they took a more honest approach and stuck 'New: We've Made Them Worse"' on the front of the packets.

Been out on it for the last 2 days
To be fair - some of the cheaper varieties are good. Given the choice I'd go Walkers everytime.
I did however buy crisps from Aldi for my mums party (plain and cheeses and onion)....................they were very acceptable. Then again I'm simply a pig where crisps are concerned.
Give me crisps over choccy any time.

Where the heck is the Worcester sauce option?
Although to be fair I try not to eat crisps, so I am nibbling a wheatgerm baked garlic and rosemary flavoured alternative at the moment.

Do you dip them in ketchup?Z.
Master Cinds loves a bag of plain, only to pour them on to a plate with a side of ketchup. *gags*

I'm still waiting for the sprout flavoured crisps we were promised back at C4
The plain crisps attraction baffles me. It's like saying 'Can I have the ones with no flavour please?'
No Cinds.. I eat them from straight from the packet sans adornment by any superfluous condiment ...just like God intended

Plain salted crisps, preferably Kettle crisps. "Flavoured" ones are shite now...I remember (being an auld boot)when crisps first came in flavours for the first time.Cheese and onion Golden wonder was the trail blazer. They were great, heavily dusted in flavour.

There is a subtlety of flavour that obviously passes you by, prom Z.

I know, because when God developed the potato in his lab, he thought, slice them thin and fry them, DO NOT FLAVOUR THEM (that was the 11th commandment the Bible writers conveniently left out). Z.
You diddling well Zaph?
