They got the votes to be there fair and square..., people should have voted more for the others that have gone, they might go soon anyway or the rebound vote will come into force like it did for Lloyd.

We had  by election yesterday (Michael Martin's old seat) Labour won,Snp second..BNP tits lost their deposit! Yay!

Even so, many people think that they will win the election.

No they can't sing but they do try, they are more entertaining than any of the others and theres lots of factors like popularity, personality because lets face it they have more charisma than the rest, to Simon and co they are profitable and have caused a right fuss no wonder they wanted to keep them...

I watched a full show for the first time on Sunday evening..(was forced)...& have to say I thought they looked like a pair of cartoon characters...a bit like that Max headroom chappie!......& they couldn't sing a note to save their lives..imo!

Yes he should have  can't trust the public to always get it right, that's why Jedward are still in the show instead of on some kiddie's prog or holiday camp

Yeah but why does that give them the right to remain in a singing contest when they really cannot sing? Fair enough, the talent on X Factor isn't exactly ground breaking but it's just the whole principles of it really.

I do think it's ridiculous that they're still there. It's ridiculous that they even got through in the first place.

Judges put them through and Simon obviously has the final say so he knew they would cause controversy. They're getting the votes apart from bottom 2 last week but they might go soon or will be kept in.


X-Factor is no longer about finding the next singing sensation or karaoke star, it's about who will make Simon Cowell the most cash, he loves the ratings, press interest and all of the acts sold their souls to them in the first place as they're all desperate to make it until Simon gets bored of them for somebody else and they've served their purpose...

Darlo hunny,you are preaching to the converted..we know the X factor is played out now.It's all about making money for Simon Cowall.,etc.Anyone who thinks otherwise is well behind the times.He's not bothered if they can sing etc,they  are under contract to him for the duration of the show and beyond.

Is it wrong to secretly enjoy people getting wound up over John and Edward?.


I know Katty, everyone can see it's one big farce but you're still getting the people who claim it's a singing competition. They have nothing to lose if they win or not because in fact they've saved this year from descending into dullsville imo.

Darlo is it not a singing competition then lol?, if not what sort of comp is it. It's called X Factor which to me means discovering a singer/entertainer that has that extra edge over the other competitors. Jedward by no stretch of the imagination are better than most of the others there, certainly not better than some who've left. Both Simon and the show has now become much more of a joke than it's been before. It may be paying off for Simon atm but he and the show are at risk at losing all credulity and the public will stop parting with their money, if they've any sense lol.

No I don't, although if I act quickly tomorrow during the show I might do online for free.

Thats obviusly a matter of opinion as folk keep voting them in AND I thought they performed better than Lucy in the sing off and are way better in every way than Lloyd.
