A couple of years ago I was walking up to my parents house and there were some kids playing football...one kid lambasted it and it headed towards me...I stood back to avoid it...but one of the other kids shouted 'Watch the lady'   I'm sure he was expecting praise for being so considerate and mannerly...I forced a thank you, but secretly wanted to pummel the insulting little toad

I worked in JJB when I was 17/18 and a lot of the kids (and their parents!) would say 'the lady' harrumph!

there's nothing more insulting   It wasn't long before I'd have been kicking the ball with them

It's not always to do with age, genetics plays a part.I got my first grey hairs aged 21.I used to pluck them out, however they became too numerous to pull out.I started to dye my hair a lighter colour,it was light brown.Ove rthe years I dyed it for about 25 years.I'm 55 now and quite white,I quite like it now, can't be arsed with dyes anymore. My late brother didn't have any grey hairs and he died aged 53.I have a cousin who went "white" at an early age too.

I suspect that I was old before my time! I only ever went in one night club. Bouncers on test, eager for trouble. Cheap lager piss at extortionate prices. Future Coronation Street star throwing himself all about the stage, to crap disco music. I much preferred going to see a band! Oddly enough the bouncers are outside all the pubs in my nearest small town! A bold salute to the protection rackets of yesteryear!

Makes you feel ancient

I should have read your post before making my own.

Cinds xxxxx

I can still remember the feeling of shock and fury

I know how to beat it.  Wax

I always promised the girl that does my waxing that once I turned 40 I would go back to just the bikini line, but now 40 is looming and I just don't think I'm ready for that.
