Only days. He was the absolute spitting image of my ex and he encountered him not long after and said I had a point.

Oh my dog Stonks! Could only be you doing that, would have loved to have heard the convo between you both when you'd done it.

One of my most embarrasing things was when I saw a friend of a friend who I had met on social occasions a few times. He was sat in his car in Morrisons car park waiting for his wife. I went up to him, he wound the window down and I proceeded to tell him what a rush I was in, I was doing last minute shopping, I had to get home to pack my suitcase as I was off to Malta for 2 weeks,he chatted about Malta and the places I had seen and yadda, yadda yadda...............It was at this point after about 15mins of chit chat that it dawned on me he was not the friend of a friend but a complete stranger! He kept me talking, knowing full well I must be 3 sheets to the wind and he was just enjoying the craic! I made my excuses and left as quick as I could. When I got home and told my partner he was just laughing his head off and was not surprised in the least.
