What silly things are you crap at?

Let's keep this fun and light hearted please. Leave the dreariness for another time.

A piece of string walks into a bar and says  - 'pint of bitter please, barman'

The barman looks at the piece of string and asks - ' We don't serve pieces of string here, you aren't a piece of string are you??'

The piece of string replies - ' No! I'm a frayed knot'

Booomtissssssssssssh.

Jackson that's my all time favourite joke. buy I eke it out by sending 3 pieces of string in to the bar.

Thanks Jen... think its definitely gone though... its like the electrics have gone in it. Got another replacement lappy from Asda though, A Medion Akoya for only ÂĢ259 so its not so bad.

Hadn't heard of Medion before, but they're German so are probably reliable?

Hi Frodo - please  tell us how your baking goes?  I used to love breadmaking but then was on a low carb diet for a while so bread was out . Now I'm off that diet thankfully + want to try my hand again. I'm not that good at baking [I usually follow Delia Smith's advice as she makes things simple] but I agree home made bread tastes so much better than shop bought.

Those cheese scones sound delicious!

Am I nosey?   Erm hope not. It was a nickname my brother gave me years ago when the neighbours were having a row and I was listening at the wall with a glass. Thought it was funny so adopted it as a FM name.

Will do Soozy - its a Medion Akoya E6234,

http://direct.asda.com/Medion-...4256,default,pd.html

Its well made, looks good and is quite light. Its about as cheap as you can go for a laptop - so very pleased so far. Battery life about 5 hours I think? Will let you know. Aldi sell them as well as Asda. To be honest I couldn't tell the difference between this and a more expensive one. With your IT course and your possibly planning on designing a site for your business, you would notice way more!!!

Me too ....it's rarely before 2am. I just find it impossible to go to bed early. I am a night owl. I hate early mornings - if for some reason I have to get up really early I suffer from morning sickness.

I was a pixie but would rather have been a ghillydoo like my sis!  Ahhhh, I loved the brownies, had a lovely Brown Owl and Snowy Owl, ( Tawny was nice,  but a bit too reserved/ buttoned up!)

I used to have an apple mac years and years ago and loved it but somehow moved into PC'S. I'm doing a City &Guilds course at the moment so ..........don't think I'll get an apple now. TBH  I wish I'd never got rid of my old apple I was a real whiz on it but at the time it was incompatible with everything else.
