I've just made a prawn pasty that's looking fairly horrific. Watch that if you want.

No Halloween and no The Shining? Call yourself a horror fan?
Errrr. You better read my sentence again Missy S, then you better check yourself before your wreck yourself.
....whats this? Aww man, I just found a whole bunch of other Horror films:
Severance
Rec
Rec 2
Ring (Japanese version)
The Ring (American version, my dissertation was on Remakes OK!!!!!! )
Final Destination 1-4
The Hole
The Descent
*Note to self* you suck at making polls

Can't stand horror. Off to watch Ghost for the umpteenth time!
There's horror and there's outright masochism.
Descent is good. Ringu better.

Well i think a film like the Changeling is more horrific and graphic
What an excellent film. One of the best for years really.Reference:
I voted for you to watch your little eye.
Blizzie, have you not seen the film...'My Little Eye that' is? Think Big Brother but effed up. I kid you not there was one scene in there that made me stand up, put on my jacket and leave the house for a few minutes (all very calmly done), it was pretty chilling.

I've severely reprimanded myself.
Rawky both versions of The Ring are excellent. Descent is okay it's not 'good', bateman's tragic pasty has got him all confused.

I like The Descent, the thought of fit birds, down a cave being hunted was very appealing...haven't seen the 2nd one yet.

I much prefer the Japanese verions of The Ring and such like - there is something infinitely more creepy about the way they are shot.
The Descent was good - I jumped out my skin when I first saw the "monster".

The Halloween remake is excellent if anyone hasn't seen it yet. Rob Zombie did it, it's nothing like the original film it doesn't even have the same story so if you didn't like the original don't let that put you off.
Ok, so the hours up but this whole poll has gone tits up. I found a whole bunch of other horror dvds and couldn't be bothered to add them to the list. Thanks to those for voting, but you did waste your time....I'm sort of sorry about that.
Anyway, now I'm going to settle down to watch The Lion King.

I think that's why I didn't like it - I expected it to be like the original - but I don't think you could ever beat thatReference:

You see I didn't really like that. I'm not a big Halloween fan, but i do think the original is better. Rob Zombie focused on too much of Michael Myers as a kid.....nearly half the film if I remember.

Don't google with filters off, you get a cold.. i mean a virus.
I must confess to watching the Hellraiser films far too much than is good for me. A really great concept which they didn't just repeat ad nauseum like the Saw films some of them were just really imaginative. I'm just sort of rambling here since I know my expert advice on horror films will probably be ignored anyway
I never understood the Matrix films, whoever i was watching it with i would say .. what does this mean, what does he mean? what they doing? No doubt i would do the same today if i was watching it.
People who talk to you in films should be made to sit in the back row with a gag. *runs off*

First Hellraiser - absolute classic. Same with the first few Saw films but they just get tiresome.

I do that in RL. Hey...... the telly isn't gonna make it any different Reference:

Not for me. They changed dramatically after the third one. Very different takes on the original concept to the point they became almost unrecognisable as Hellraiser films, but still excellent.Add Reply
