My legs are going like the clappers !!!
I'm going bananas here!
pear-shaped
Afraid to say looked like Cavendish to blame to me
What a dramatic finish.
Afraid to say looked like Cavendish to blame to me
And me, too, sadly
All attention on Cavendish. Hope the other chap is OK
Yorkshire did us proud. What a sad end to it
A possible broken collar bone - ouch !
Yeah I meant sad end to stage 1 in our 'bit' GJ
Hospital staff who couldn't get to see it will be getting a surprise visit 'though

I wonder if the nurse who cuts of the shirt "saves it" ?
Has Wills got his grandad's jeans on?
The weather is looking good for the TDF in Sheffield.
I'm seeing a lot of cyclists outside of my window today, not in groups but in one's and two's probably making their way to their chosen viewing position. I'm looking forward to Jenkin Road, the commentators seem to be saying it will spread out the peloton with it's 1 in 4 gradient... and it is very steep in places, bad enough on foot !!!
Morning EC, I'll be half watching whilst getting on with some other jobs and watching Wimbledon today. Glad the weather is okay there, it's tipping down here.

Morning Supes - I'm going to be doing TDF up to the start of the F1, then returning after the F1.
I'm not sure what the forecast is for today or whether the riders prefer an overcast day (I can't believe they like strong sun).
Le Chateau de Helmsley LOL: 40 odd miles away from where they are!
I have just got out of a bath, a very hot bath soaking in it whilst listening to the commentary on the telly. Used some of that mint bodywash and it's freezing...
Anyway, my telly has auto-switch to F1 to I will keep track on here with the TDF. Get typing you lot.

Haha! TDF, GP and Tennis all overlapping. We'll have our work cut out.
Morning EC.
I'll be switching over to the tennis soon but am enjoying this spectacle at the moment

For sports fans it's an extremely busy weekend that's for sure.
Fortunately for me I'm not so interested in tennis, but the World Cup is causing a lot of telly watching.
Also I have no recording device so I have to pick and choose.
That looked a bit like Penistone crag back there. Just needed the ghosts of Cathy and Heathcliff, snogging

Blubberhouses is a way from there Madame, they might be a bit further on near Haworth
Thanks, Supes. I'll keep my eyes peeled!
Anyone kn ow what time this stage finishes?
Well, that's the end of Le Tour in N. Yorks: a damn good show we put on
Hands over the baton to W Yorks
Anyone kn ow what time this stage finishes?
Not a clue I'm afraid, it's further in miles and more hilly than yesterday, so presumably q a bit later
Thanks, Supes. I'll keep my eyes peeled!
It's a few miles out of Haworth, but they've been showing us q a few places of interest that aren't on the route, but nearby, so maybe they'll do so with that?

It says 17:00 on the telly, so hopefully I can watch an hour or so after the F1, which is what I really want to see as I used to live near Jenkin Road and I'm curious as to how they tackle that.
Not done any food shopping yet !!
Not done any food shopping yet !!
And I haven't done any of my jobs! Keep thinking I'll start in a minute

Let's hope so
Haworth coming up next Madame
Thankfully the commentators have now been given the nod that it's not Harworth in Nott's!
The Hovis ad' was filmed in Gold Hill Shaftesbury This is the main st in Haworth
