FInally take it easy with your scar they can get easily infected hun
Lois hun, I thought of you SOOOOOOO much over the past week. I would have LOVED to have chatted with you because I remember you going through the exact same thing.
I went to my GP for a regular appointment, BP was high and there was protein, so he sent me in to hosp. That was on the Wednesday and by the Sunday they still couldn't stabilise the BP so they said they'd induce me. Three gels later still nowt so they broke the waters...omg the pain I couldn't sit or lie down coz of the head omg that was the longest night of me life
So anyhow the next morning still nowt so half eight they brought me to delivery and put me on the oxytocin drip. Oh the things they did to me Finn's heartbeat was low to start with so they had to take blood tests from him, he was squirming away in me belly and I couldn't even describe the position I was in
Because of my BP they had to wait for the blood test results before I got the epidural, when the anaesthetist eventually arrived he was too busy chattin on his mobile to give it to me straight away
Anyhow, the consultant was growing more concerned about Finn's heart rate so he ordered they stop the drip and wait for a second opinion. So Mr Temps went for a sambo and I was left twiddlin me thumbs Then the doc came back in they weren't happy and thought it best they get him out asap...so off I was whisked and a million calls were sent around to get me hubby back.
He was born at 1.30pm....though when they plucked him out I couldn't look at him I was so afraid of what I'd see they all had to convince me he was okay and it was safe to look
He really is the sweetest little creature, even when he cries he's so cute. When he's tired he snuggles down till he can hear my heartbeat and cuddles right in

oh god Ditty, not half as weird as the sensation of them rummaging about...I won't talke about the birth Peeps keep asking about the section and I keep changing the subject, hearing them all around you knowing it's your tummy they're pulling away at...

Aw, I love infants. Hope you're doing ok Temps. Guess nothing worked to plan did it?
Never does.
Take care of yourself. Make sure you sleep when he sleeps. Don't worry about the house and people calling.
LOL, that kind of heaving and 'rummaging about in your innards' sensation is beyond weird You will soon heal up and forget about it thoughquote:Originally posted by Templetonpeck:

The rummaging is horrible but I'm so glad it worked out for you.
Jessica still cuddles up when she wants a nap sometimes listening for the heartbeat it's lovely feeling. I miss her loads now I'm back at work but she is so happy to see me in the evening it's lovely.
Congrats again.
