There are squillions of alternatives, even 5 miles apart you have variations. I LOVE UK accents, I think it's fantastic thing (due to an obsessive, Northumbrian, English teacher who spent hours banging on about accents and dialects whilst teaching us Shakespeare)...He was my favourite teacher, I may not have taken any notice if I hadn't like him

I think it's something to be celebrated, I'd hate it if dialects died out and we all ended up in some Ch4 presenter hell of estuary Zoe Ball-esque sameness.

Scouse accent is so dam.......sexy...hmmmmmm

I like most of them. Actually I really like the Welsh accent but scouse just makes me think WTF??

I love Welsh too, specifically Cardiff area. 

The harsh scouse accent does grate, the one with the "hack" in it. Like a growl at the back of the throat...

Speaking of accents I'd love to know what accent Kevin has. She can barely pronounce a single word properly in a sentence.

I LOVE a london accent, especially on a bloke....East London is even better, Ray Winstone sounds  like a right blokey bloke

I can't stand the Welsh accent, Its like a drone that goes up at the end! Just watched that programme Under-age and having sex and it was filmed in Wales, dam they also talk really fast!!
