Why? It's Sunday. I don't need to go anywhere/do anything in particular!

Why would you set an alarm then?

Because if I oversleep I feel grotty for the rest of the day.

I've been skimping on sleep for quite a while now. Maybe once I get back to a proper sleep pattern I can dispense with the alarm,

Slinki - after reading your post I just rang my sister - she has taken voluntary severance and will be finishing at the end of July. She is a librarian and there is lots of competition for suitable jobs etc etc - aspecially as she doesn't drive.

Her passion is astrology - she has computer programmes and stuff and does it as a hobby for friends and family. I've just told her your story and suggested that she start something up. She has lots of contacts in the arts (she's librarian at an art college) and her husband is a literary editor so she should be able to set something up that not only looks and sounds good but is also very well researched and understood.

Anyway ..........................good luck to you and thank you for giving me an idea for my sis.

Excellent Soozy! !  I just think it makes sense ! ! I hope she goes for it ..  it's rare we get the chance to try , and to do something you love doing and possibly make a living from it ..  perfect!

I just figure if I don't do it now I never will, and I'd always wonder how it would have gone.. this way I get to find out ! Keep me posted on your sis, eh ?

Thanks Lori! ! It's complementary therapies ( which I love) and teaching ( which I love as well! )  so the aim is to be happy with what I'm doing and to make enough to get by on I reckon the first bit will take care of itself, fingers crossed for the second bit
