John Adeleye who was born in west London,^[4] was discovered in 2003 when he won the UK MOBO competition in the London venue Sound. As a result, he was signed by record company Universal-Island^[5] and artist management company Shalit Global (owned by Charlotte Church's former manager Johnathan Shalit). He began writing with many industry names such as Brian Rawlins, Lamont Dozier, Guy Chambers and Lisa Stansfield. ^[6]

During this time he began doing public appearances on televisions shows such as ITV's GMTV^[7] and BBC's CBBC.^[8] In 2004, he began touring with UK artist Jamelia.^[5] On the show Britain's Next Top Model, J'Nay was tasked with picking models to dance with him on stage to a track from his album Merry Go Round.^[9] He later split with both his record company and his management company for reasons that are unknown

In November 2008, Geneva won a talent show based on the hit British TV show “The X Factor” called “The WOW Factor”. She recorded a pre-written and produced single for the winner called “I Believe”. The single was sold over the internet and played throughout the month of December on national radio.

Alex Murdoch (a singer in Simon Cowell’s made-for-telly band FYD): He was on Living TV’s Dirty Dancing – the same show that featured Britain’s Got Talent’s Tobias Meade. That show was judged by Kelly Brook, who was also a judge on… Anybody? Yep, Kelly was judge on Britain’s Got Talent, where she sat next to… Simon Cowell.

Alex was also an extra in a Harry Potter film and a film with Robert DeNiro.

Kalvin Lamley: A contestant on the BBC’s dance show Dance X.

Mary Bryne: She won TG4 Irish TV singing contest Nollaig No 1 – which means Christmas number one.
