I don't understand why they waste their time with it when it doesn't mean a thing... Gary just sat there and even said himself that her performance just then means nothing.

Jade was better than Union J, but she still wasn't great.

I'm still shocked that the judges actually made a decision this week and didn't send it to deadlock..

Goodnight all.

They didn't send it to deadlock because UnionJ would have been out ,it's all so fixed.

X Factor 2012: Lucy Spraggan 'threatens to quit' over pay row

Lucy Spraggan [X Factor 2012)

X Factor star Lucy Spraggan has threatened to quit, unless she’s paid for her performances on ITunes.

The 21-year-old, who controversially missed the weekend’s live show due to illness, wants to get a cut of all revenue made by her performances on the show.

This year, like last year, the performances from the live show are available to download after the show has aired for 99p each.

The Daily Mirror also reports that Lucy isn’t happy about having to sing cover versions on the show, which have so far included her take on Titanium and Gold Digger.

“Lucy might quit – she’s tired of being told off,” a show source told the newspaper this morning. “She doesn’t want to sing covers. She was loving it but she’s unwell, which is making her negative.”

A show spokeswoman however insisted: “She is very happy show-wise.”

Meanwhile X Factor fans have hit out at show bosses for giving Lucy a free pass through to the next round.

Some fans weren’t too happy with the treatment after Lucy was seen getting very drunk throughout the week at Rylan’s birthday party.

And some have claimed it was unfair that Jade Ellis and Kye Sones didn’t get the same treatment when they were both ill last week.

One complained: “So basically Lucy Spraggan is hungover and she’s been let through to next week?”

And another ranted: “FIX! She’s been out partying all week.”

A spokesperson for The X Factor said: “Lucy isn’t well and on advice did not perform.”

The XFactor 2012 continues next Saturday night on ITV1.

The latest results show follows on Sunday evening, which will feature performances from Rita Ora and No Doubt, as well as one more act being given the boot.

^^^^ ÂĢ Factor's main objective is making money, from the public and the contestants. I've more respect for SCD who keep their phone lines open for around 15 mins, X Factor have them open on the Sat and Sun just to get more calls. The contestants should get a cut from the downloads, perhaps they should all go on strike and throw the format into chaos

True, but I fear that if SCD kept their lines open until sunday even tho the results are read out on saturday evening it would cause the BBC some more problems that they really dont need right now.

I get what you're saying Vid and yes the Beeb is in enough trouble lol. If X Factor did the same as SCD they wouldn't come across as so money grabbing, well that's how I see them. I'm annoyed with myself I even watch all the hype  - but at least this year I didn't watch the auditions with just crazy people who can't sing, so I'm getting better lol

Lucy Spraggan is reportedly facing a decision over whether or not to quit The X Factor today (November 2).
The singer was given a bye into the next round of the competition last week due to illness, and she is still yet to have a full practice session this week.
The X Factor Week 3: Lucy Spraggan
It was recently claimed that Spraggan was threatening to quit the show due to being unhappy over song choices.
Her close friend and fellow contestant Rylan Clark has now said that she may decide to leave following her ongoing illness.
"Her health comes first and the show comes second at the moment," he told The Sun.
Spraggan was due to have her first rehearsal on Wednesday (October 31) since being signed off last Friday, but she cancelled due to exhaustion.
However, show sources have claimed that she has not been pressured to come back this week.
"It's completely up to her when she wants to come back to the show and there is no pressure from the producers or anyone else," said a show insider.Leave 7a141319.gif photo

Hi Velvethope your good.

FM

If she's left she didn't really fit the X Factor criteria in general anyway because she writes her own material and the contestants have to sing covers. If she's left because of the cover songs she's been given she's not happy with, or left because she's not being paid a percentage for the downloads of her original material which is her property then I understand why she's left, if it's for other other reasons so be it.

Not just related to her but sometimes the Mentors choose the wrong songs for the ones they're mentoring and their singer pays for it by the public not voting for them. The so called musical mentors aren't always as in touch with their singers and the public as they like to believe.

"I am gutted not to be able to continue on this journey but I'm not well enough to perform. To accept another free pass having missed last weekend would not be fair on the others in the competition. I wish them all well. I would like to express my thanks to everyone who has supported me. There is no way that this setback will prevent me from fulfilling my ambition. You'll be hearing from me again very soon."
