thanks kaffy - think on that basis the other guy deserved a chance

yep.. moving in 'showbiz' circles you'd think even more strange that she'd not got a break and wonder at the reason.

Viewers were led to believe Masson was a full-time mother and were stunned when she sang an incredibly powerful version of Janis Joplin's Cry Baby.

Guest judge Anastacia told Masson, described as a 'stay at home mum': "You killed it like that. It is never too late to have a record deal guuurl."

However, what the show failed to reveal was that she had also been working with some big music stars for the last 15 years.

The 'undiscovered talent' has worked as a session vocalist with names including Kasabian, Stereophonics, Fatboy Slim and Happy Mondays and in 2007, when she was signed to EMI records, released a single.

Masson told The Sun: “Most of the work I did was ten to 15 years ago. But for the past six years I’ve been a full-time mum."

It's only the third week into the reality show's long run. Last week we reported how X Factor contestant Kye Sones, whom viewers believed to be a chimney sweep looking for a lucky break, was actually part of a signed electro-pop band until a year ago.

The Sun revealed Sones was a member of Diagram Of The Heart, who were signed to Sony Music and toured with the Scissor Sisters.

On the show, Sones was portrayed as a wannabe and was shown sweeping chimneys.

GMD3 need to change their name and they need YOUR help!

News just in! GMD3 have decided to change their band name. After chatting with Louis, the Group and their Mentor have decided that they want to drop GMD3 for the Live Shows as nobody can remember it!

However, the three hotties are an indecisive bunch and in dire need of some inspiration. This is where YOU come in. The Group has asked that X Factor fans get in touch with suggestions to help them out.

The boys X-clusively told us earlier: “We’ve been dying to change our name for ages. People forget it and often confuse it with GMTV! We’d really love our fans and twitter followers to help us out by sending in their ideas for names. If there’s a suggestion we like, we’ll use it.”

With this in mind, we want to hear ALL your suggestions asa to the p. You never know, your idea could lead them to victory. As a special treat, we’ll also be tweeting the best of your suggestions allowing you the opportunity to see your name in print!

We’ve already suggested GMD3 Hotties, GMD3 Fitties and GMD3 Hunks, but oddly enough the guys weren’t sold on any of them. Hmmmâ€Ķ

So what are you waiting for? Send us your name suggestions to xfactor@fremantlemediauk.com . *Please remember to email your suggestions to us by midday, 3rd October 2012 and don't forget to include your name, phone number and age*

And before you email us, please make sure you read and agree to the terms and conditions HERE. We’ll hold you to them!

Very interesting reading that if it's true of course.

I did notice his reaction when Gary was speaking about his nerves,he looked gutted that this would be the reason he would not go through.I don't think he is as nervous as it was made out, sort of backfired I think .
