There was a piece in my Mums paper today about this series turning into the best series ever and I've heard that said elsewhere too. I don't agree, I much preferred the simple perspective the housemates had on things in the first few series, now it's all about gameplans and tactics

No way is it the best series, probably the worst. I agree with Joe as well.
Imho Series 2 was by far the best.

If it had live feed I think it had great potential!! buit because we don't, we are in the dark about a lot of things.. so no not the best for that reason!
I prefer this series to BB8 and BB4 although it has been dire at times . BB6 and BB3 are my fav series didn't watch 1 or 2

This is by far the worst series that Big Brother has ever had! Over the past few years it's just got worse and worse IMO
My order is:
BB1 - Amazing. So unique, none of them knew what to expect.
BB2 - Again amazing. Different from BB1 but had that original spark.
BB3 -Again amazing. Had the original spark of BB1 but moved on slightly from the first 2.
BB5 - Amazing in a different way. This for me was the last incredible BB.
BB7 - Very, very good. Again, moved on so much but still very entertaining!
BB8 - A good series. Shame about the winner. Next to this year it's fantastic!
BB4 - Boring but I'd much rather have old school BB!
BB6 - It was interesting but I couldn't find anyone I really liked.
BB9 - Was good in parts but just wasn't exceptional.
BB10 - By FAR the worst. Slipped down to a show that no one cared about. Seems like no effort went into it. BB is dead.

Gawd no,one of the worst due to no live feed and BB's spin on it with the highlights show.

Not for me too many arguements and not enough fun in fact there is no fun in this one

I really can't get into this series at all. I've tried quite a few times but it's just so uninteresting. I just end up turning the TV over or off.
Nope. Worst. Which is probably a good thing as they're pulling the plug altogether next year. I won't miss it half as much as I thought I might.

I agree with this. I think lack of LF has affected it so much! There's the possibility of this being an amazing series, with the characters and the drama but it's just not happened and there's no buzz whatsoever.
I think this is the best BB so far because the people they have chosen are mostly all alike, with just a few exceptions. Most are harsh, ego-driven, cut throat, back stabbing and two-faced. Most are media-savvy and fighting for camera time. It's such a pity there is no live feed because we would see even more dirty tricks being played. BB has just got real dirty and the dog-eat-dog attitude makes for interesting interaction. It's my favourite series tbh. We now have a house of fierce clawing tigers, with a few exceptional cuddly kittens to make it interesting.
I find with BB, the more you watch, the more you want to watch. What were they thinking having Davina host BBBM? She's so boring. Why have they turned it into a dry discussion show? TBH, I prefered BBBM to BB even with dodgy presenters and as I'm not watching BB very much I can't be bothered to watch BBLB - even though I don't have any objections to George Lamb as a presenter.
not my best, but I have really enjoyed it, it's definately not the worst. My best was BB2 and Bb3, worst the cameron one and BB9. BB10 ranks 3rd best on my list.

Its been watchable but not fun...there have been very few laugh out loud moments in it....and for the most part the people are so unlikeable that it's difficult to really support anyone.

I'm one of those who actually likes to see 'nice' and interesting people in there, Twee, so, for me, it's been a bit pants.
The format has mutated into something I don't care for; merely platform for (feeble and short-lived) media career launches. Been enjoying 'Desperate Romantics'? I have. (The Beeb website is great too).

hiya sub xx I like my BB contestants to be fierce and to watch how low they can sink for 100k, how they will claw their way to the end by fair means or foul. But it doesn't mean I like the people doing it, I just like to watch desperation in all its glory and as an example of how not to act in a greedy cut-throat way. I didn't watch all the series, and came in about series 3 or 4. It was all a bit too nicey nicey for me back then. I hate the perpetrators in this series, but love the backlash and the fallout.
I haven't watched any of the Pre-Raph stuff yet. I am taping it and I intend to watch it when I have all six eppys in the bag, all in one sitting. I am too distracted by BB at the minute to concentrate on it. It is a special treat for later on when I can really get into it properly without watching it in disjointed episodes. I know I am going to love it sub. And thank you so much for reminding me that it was on in the first place. I will also check out the BB website. I know you have been loving it, so I'm in for a right treat ..
Like most of youse I think the potential of this series has been killed by the lack of LF. Even the tabs have sworn off because they're not picking up the stories off the forums.
Certainly the best one for a good while.
No my best was bb5 with the jungle cats a hoot.
It is really missing LF so we know what's really going on BUT, that said, I am enjoying this one - there are plenty of twists and turns. Most of the tasks have been pretty lame but some the HMs, especially Freddie, Marcus and, grudgingly Lisa have made the series fascinating to watch.
It might just be worse than BB4 and that's saying something.
