Poor Kirsty! Frowner I do hope she gets her ring back.

I have a solitaire ring that was left in my house by an overnight guest about 10 years ago. I have no way of contacting her to say the ring is safe. She just signed my guestbook with her first name and her address as London. I reported it to the local polis in the hope she would contact them about it, but nothing happened, she was touring the highlands and probably didn't know where she lost/left it, and the ring is now legally mine. I don't want it though, I just wish I could return it to her safe and sound.

I hope she gets it back.

I'd hate to lose something which holds precious memories.

I lost my wedding ring a few months back and was so distraught. I hadn't been out so knew it had to be in the house or garden. We searched pretty much all day until it suddenly dawned on me that it might have come off inside one of my exfoliating gloves in the shower and, hey presto, there it was!!

Panic over. Phew!

Oh I really really hope she finds it as I can't deal with losing things, I really can't, have no tolerance at all for lost stuff and search endlessly for however long it takes. I'd rather give it away and know where it is than constantly wonder where it is.

We're loving Kirsty's new show of renovating a house she bought in Devon at auction
