I certainly would not. It really is frightening what some will do to remain on telly.

Yes, I'd have assumed it was sugar glass or the like tbh.

Maybe that is bb test, get the wannabee out,so there might be some truth to the rumour that it is the hms that face the public vote, and the not so desperate hm are safe.quote:Originally posted by paace:

Bo***cks- its easy to assume when you were told after.

Health and safety laws apply to channel 4 and bb too.
Yes, looks like fun. And the bottom of my feet are quite tough, so it wouldn't have hurt much.
Yep. Because there would be no way on God's green earth that BB would risk having their arse sued.. so it was bound to be sugar glass.
I would have done it... BB will not risk health and safety especially when they know they are being watched by thirsty complainers/media
I would never in a million years thought it was sugar glass. I don't think I would have volunteered for it in the first place

If they thought about it, its obvious BB aren`t gonna risk people getting their feet cut to shreds or their internal organs ruptured by a motor bike. It would be the worst publicity ever for BB.
Mind you - they`ve got no qualms about sending people mental !
I would probably not, although the soles of my feet are like leather and i could prob walk over real glass !

From a quick cursory glance, you could tell it was sugar glass.

I would have assumed too - the risk of using real glass was too great.
Having said that - even if they had been told it was real glass I bet they would have done it anyway they are so desperate

Indeed, there is no way they would allow them to cut their feet to bits.
without 1 seconds hesitation, just HOW dim would ya have to be to even consider it would be REAL glass?
perhaps thats why they were so eager to volunteer??
and yeh they REALLY WOULD run a HM over with a motorbike.
Is this the BEST they can come up with? do they think the HMs dont know how this show works by now?
what a load of old shite.

, totally.
considering that people do broken glass walks with real glass then I would assume that the instructions would be given to do it properly and safely so I think I would do it.

Yeps red. People it seems can walk over broken glass and red hot coals with the proper mental training. Thats why I thought those guys could get them to do it with the right mental attitude.

That's true but I'm sure it takes a good while to get psyched up mentally!

PIFFLE as IF there was even the slightest chance of it being real glass,
cause ch4 are SO rich they can afford to maim gameshow contestants,
they wont EVEN let them have the electric hair straghtnerss out around the place in case one of em uses them to stir the soup,

I am like that some people actually think it could have been real glass,
I would not have bottled it
I have danced on real broken glass without even a tiny cut
so give me another 10 pints and i'd probably be happy to do it again

My mother did red hot coal walking once - it was literally "who wants to try it?" situation when the guys doing it asked the spectators. She just went up to it and did it.
no and well done them for doing it..although we know it was sugar glass. Cant believe they werent more bothered themselves though afterwards, they were cool as cucumbers!!
It was all in the scriptquote:Originally posted by sunny dayz:

cause they KNOW that they would NEVER be asked to do ANYTHING that even had the slightest chance of hurting them,
even the "instructor" was saying ...if you feel the slightest pain lift your foot, JUST IN CASE they managed to cut themselves on sugar glass, it can cut you but its not very likely,
def was strange though they were well calm! My god, these people soooo want to get in that house, i mean..changing your name by deed pole and having to be called 'dogface' for the rest of the series! Wonder what the next housemates are going to have to do to get in.. i bet they are worried!
had i been brave enough to go onto reality tv then i'm sure i'd have been brave enough to do this task. as someone said above, ch4 still have to conform to health and safety etc., so i wouldn't have any worries that i could actually be harmed physically in a task!
Though as i said above, i'm not brave (or stoopid?) enough to go onto reality tv, so i wouldn't ever have to decide......

I was more interested in the reaction of the HMs who were watching from inside the house...not really what you would expect if they thought that the other pair were about to really walk on broken glass was it?
almost as if.....dare I say it.......they knew?

yeah they must have had a pretty good idea themselves about it, i wouldnt have done it though!
Do we vote for the remaining housemates in the non housmate side then? Hope marcus doesnt get in.

Absoloutely ......no way would they have used real glass for fear of being sued. From the moment they stepped on it I said it was sugar glass - you could tell from the sound it made.
