True.  It couldn't get any greyer or wetter (could it?)  

I changed the angle slightly because the shrub at the front is starting to sprout and is quite pretty in full bloom.   The oak in the middle is dying  but we're bringing it down bit by bit, branch by branch. Fingers X'd for another year.

 

I can't tell you of the junk and rubbish to the right and out of shot of this photo

EC, I know the Crucible, but save me a google - what's the other building (it's another beautiful one)

 

The other building is called The Lyceum, quite a few years ago they renovated it. I remember seeing a few 80's bands there before they returned it back into a theatre.

It's a pretty good place to live. Although I do have a gripe about our council who seem intent on allowing all of our historic and notable architecture be demolished.  The latest a row of shops which are all independent, they are putting up micro flats and fast food shops - madness.

 

Having said that, for a big city it's very village like.
