Thanks @Lori

The car pic will be of interest to a friend of mine who works for Dunlop.

The third picture looks like it would be a nice place to have a home (is it an office?). I like the curved balconies.

The final picture looks like someone is bending over on the top of the tall structure to the left hand side. I suspect it may be a lamp of some sort.

More would be welcome (but don't feel pressured).

I have been watching this along with Yogi.

Wow ....lovely photos Lori ....looks straight out of a John Wayne movie

Haha, it does! We were saying on the drive that it feels like this is the only place left in the US that looks like it's a Western movie set. Although I suppose parts of Montana and Wyoming might still look that way.

Thanks! I took those with my iPhone!

I hope you do get to visit, EC--it's lovely, and those pictures can't really do it justice.

The only place I have visited in the US is Florida, doing the usual Miami, tampa, space centre and Disney. Did not get to the end of the key as my dad turned the car back

I can imagine the landscape you pictured above to be awesome.

I went out for a walk today and took a few pictures. It was a bit overcast, so the light was pretty poor (I'm going to give them another go in the summer). The pictures below are of a recent installation outside the City Hall to commemorate the contribution of the women of Sheffield during the wars.

The piece is called Women of Steel.

This weekend I stopped to read the inscription on a statue I have seen many times (It's located in the Cathedral grounds in the city center) but never looked at closely.

Today I took a few photographs. It would seem that James Montgomery was born in Irvine, Scotland.
