15/3/2015 Rowan tree - biding it's time. Not being fooled by all this early-summer type weather.
The shrub at the base is a Lonicera - it's an evergreen.
Loving everyone's pics I'll see if I have any to share

Having a bit of a wander round I spotted what I thought might be a nice photograph. It's an old post box against a backdrop of Sheffield Cathedral, which has been nicely tidied up after a recent visit by The Queen who handed out Maundy Money.
Hope you enjoy the picture.
She always was a bit slovenly.
JB..!
Nice photos, Saz!
Thanks Cosi I seem to have spammed the thread a bit
Loving the photos.. but.. after looking at the various trees on here and outside - I have to ask..... Fluffs - has there been some sort of nuclear incident where you live?

It's OK....we survived!
The trees have grown again, which you will soon see. Just a lot later than the rest of the world it seems>
This is the nearest anyone has come to taking a photo of the elusive Carnelian.
Allow me to repost this!
My day today:
A lump of sugar for my espresso; I always think of El Loro, dunno why..
A check on the garden... Peonies nearly in bloom:
At last, a poppy, hurrah!
Off to meet daughter for lunch; parked in the old town fisherman's area:
She fancied fish 'n chips: the Moby Dick portion:
^ Notice the old fashioned lace table cloth. It's a tatty, ramshackle converted nets hut but the locals seem to like it....
Nice to have company whilst having a fag
And then on to Boots for some cosmetics and the possibility of a sweetie or 2 for sweet toothed Min:
Love that poppy, Cos!
My poppies haven't flowered yet. Not sure if they've even budded!
20/3/2015 Eclipse day - it was overcast, but the light quality noticeably dimmed and the birds came back to roost, even thou it wasn't far away from mid-day.
