22/2/2015 Climb the path on the other side
23/2/2015 And here we are, looking back across the road to the stop we got off at - all those eons ago!
24/2/2015 Normally you can nip across at road level because it's a dual carriageway and if you know the traffic light sequence, but not just now because of this....
I've not checked this thread for ages - seems like there's still a few of you doing it? I'm into month 9 with mine now, gone over really fast
I'm still doing it, but as you can see I'm a bit behind.
lovely here last night
I keep forgetting! I've written myself a note
I've got several photos lined up. I can't seem to find the time to sort them out. Some are on my phone and some on my tablet.
This is one of several pictures I took of some sculptures in the grounds of a church located in the city centre, shortly before I went for my usual Sunday morning coffee.
I have a similar picture of his wife - somewhere!
They were quite rich in those days - but his son lost most of the wealth. His business manager and senior employee ran off together - and took most of the family's money with them.

That's shocking Fluffs

As, I'm sure, do a lot of us.
I've been trying to get a shot of the new lambs, but at this rate, by the time me, my camera and the lambs get close enough together to be anything more than blobs on the horizon, they'll be sheep!
Having a bit of a wander round I spotted what I thought might be a nice photograph. It's an old post box against a backdrop of Sheffield Cathedral, which has been nicely tidied up after a recent visit by The Queen who handed out Maundy Money.
Hope you enjoy the picture.
Great pic, EC

Thanks
Was quickly taken with my mobile.
And 2 months on again....
That your garden?
That your garden?
Just a sneaky peek, yes
(I'm keeping the messy bits out of camera shot)

Looks really very nice with lovely clipped lawn behind the tree.
Has the feel of a country house about the garden.
Thank you, EC; it's surrounded by farms but less than a mile from the sea
I have been out shopping this afternoon:
This is the nearest anyone has come to taking a photo of the elusive Carnelian.

28/2/2015 My attempts to photograph some, from a speeding bus, haven't been too successful:-
Totally managed to miss all the ones that were closer to the fence.
I was having lunch with a mate on Thursday when I spotted One Show presenter Alex Riley with his kids.
He is born in Sheffield so it looks like he is having a day off work. The picture will need viewing full screen to see him properly hence the link.

I can't see any Daffies, but that bush arrangement
That's the thing....the daffs are supposed to be round the base of those shrubs - have been every year since we moved in (1993)......except this year!
*Sends EC some caustic soda to remove the filth from his mind!*

You've killed them!!!
Did you cut them down too early last year, Fluffs? They need all the 'goodness' to die back into the bulb before you tidy them up. I had the same disappearing act with my bluebells one year...but they've come back again since.
My lupins are starting to bloom and I'm just waiting to take a snap of my peonies which are due to flower any time now.......
