Does anyone else think we are going through a period of depressing world news?
I always catch the news first thing in a morn ing and then I used to catch-up at 6pm, but lately I'm not drawn to watching the news at 6pm.

No, it's people seeing a person who is going through one of the toughest things a person can... at such a young age while still being selfless and trying use that to help others and remain positive.... to him.
Oh i agree jen - however its highlighted so much cos he's dying
What's radishes got to do with it.
Good point Jen, that is a good news-ish story (excepting his unfortunate circumstances), but it's one amongst too many gloomy stories. Although as I find it sad it's probably a half and half story for me.
