Yes! I love these end of term events! I've been to four of 'em. I keep banging on about the subject but I'm still hoping that one of these upcoming ones will be brought back to somewhere local. I suspect otherwise that I won't be fit to see one in my lifetime.
I always support England, then The Fatherland. Then anyone local. I'm hoping that Belgium do well too.

I'm not really a huge football fan, much prefer cricket, but enjoy the spectacle of the World Cup so will enter into the spirit of the thing.  I hope England do well but suspect they will be 'home before the postcards' as the saying goes.

I'm hoping that the Italians do well (not least because I've always found them to  have rather nice legs).

Need someone to 'boo', too.  Are the French there?

I normally boo Brazil, Argentina, and obviously Portugal. A highlight of the 2006 World Cup was being in the Hamburg fanzone with lots of French fans. They cheered us against Portugal, who were the least popular team in the competition, and we cheered them against Brazil. Happy days!
I was actually at the previous game in Hannover when France beat Spain. Happy Days!

Didn't they scrape through? Just like last WC, when they handballed their way in at the expense of Ireland. Boooooooooo!

Ah yes I remember that, Roger.  I felt so sorry for the Irish.

My chap's team won't be at the party but he will be supporting England and probably Holland.  We both rather hope that the Germans will be on the plane home before they get chance to take the tops off their suntan lotion but that isn't going to happen, is it?

Don't know why but Spain annoy me... want someone to knock them off their perch for some reason

I'm not keen on the Spanish side or the Portuguese, but I have always disliked the ex ManU player Ronaldo.

I also think the more Latin a side is the more they like to hit the deck looking for a cheap decision.
