I'm disliking the new gay, meaning useless, meaning, like
I hate it!    I have been fighting an ongoing battle with my kids about this use of the word gay ... and at times have been losing the battle...

its blowing over a bit now though...   new words are springing up.. I haven't heard either of them describe something as gay for ages.

Thankfully neither of them say "like" at the end of every sentence.

I like "wicked"...  and I use the term hot!   (sorry Isadora )   daughter has moved onto describing them as "buff"..  and I quite like that too!

For me... anything is better than the over use of the word "safe" that seems to be thankfully going out of fashion.

And I mean LOL... not ell-oh-ell
me & my mate found ourselves doing that to each other when we had first discovered chatrooms...   was even worse cos she came to work at the same place as me... and we kept finding ourselves saying lol!   Luckily it was less common then... and we had the good grace to be cringing at ourselves and stop doing it!

Daughter & I do occaisionally say "ninja" on the end of a sentence though
