I too am revelling in the xmas food/snacks...

its the little frozen boxes of "party" food I get off on!

We have been doing a supermarket comparison...

Mini Duck Spring Rolls - Asda's are cheapest at ÂĢ1 but a bit rank.  Tesco's are ok (cannot remember price), Co-0ps are bloody lovely and are about ÂĢ1.60 (3 boxes for ÂĢ5)...

Co-op do these oriental chicken crackers, and prawn tempura things too... in the 3 for ÂĢ5 range!

Tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday I am going to go and see what Waitrose & Sainsburys have got.   Hopefully some Duck spring rolls (as our like for like comparison)...

I am now eagerly awaiting the ceramic pots of blue stilton that you only get at chrismas.   ITS THE BEST BLUE CHEESE EVER!!!!

DITTY Where have you been??
ello Issy..

Mainly nurturing my daughter (she had Glandular Fever in the end...  that sore throat I mentioned back in Aug/Sept)...   she has missed a whole half term of 6th form!

Good news is I have just dropped her back at school...  she is about 99% recovered just has to avoid PE and any heavy lifting cos of the risk of her rupturing her spleen, and she cannot drink alcohol for a few months - cos of inflammed liver...   and mustn't snog anyone - in case she infects them!   Leaving plenty of time for her to catch up on her studies!

OHHHHH i love xmas food!! Do you know they say that christmas could be to blame for the UK's increasing weight problem. It said on the news last year that the average person puts on 2lbs each xmas that they dont loose but what a lovely way to put it on.

Im looking forward to a baked camembert with crusty sticks and onion chuney !!!
