You need to edit the whole damn post Meaty! You have a gripe with bad drivers..makes sense to me...but if women caused all the major road accidents then women would not be considered a more economical insurance risk. You can argue till you are blue in the face about what you observe to be a fact but clever boffins like Actuarians (statisticians that work out insurance risks/costs) will prove otherwise...

Whilst you can't really generalise, in my view I think it tends to be women who are worse drivers than men.  The figures certainly don't show that women have more accidents, but I do think that in many cases, women's driving frustrates other motorists to the extent that it affects their own driving and leads to accidents.   But I think women drivers pale into insignificance compared to the danger posed by elderly drivers of cars like old Metros, regardless of gender,  who wear hats.   I avoid drivers wearing hats like the plague -they are lethal.

and then my husband's wish came true and we bought a tank
Mr Blizz was badgering me in hospital, during my third labour, as he had to decide on a company car and wanted to get a seven seater (Ford Galaxy).
It wasn't the best time to ask me if I was going to have more kids!

I don't mind driving it, but it's a bugger to park, so I much prefer my little Honda Civic.

You are absolutely right! But in my defence, I'm not the one changing the goal posts to suit myself...you started a thread...then got pithy with someone who had taken it seriously enough to call you an arsehole...then in the face of reasoned debate suddenly claimed you were being light hearted all along. When you've made up your mind if you are joking or making a serious claim, I'll get back to you...until then I'm outta here and jumping in to my 4 wheel drive, observing all the highway code and attempting a school run without incident
