I remember it well. It was on a Great Ormond St. Hospital clinic day for my son, but we were called and told not to come in that afternoon as all the available medics had gone round the corner to see if they could help the injured from the bus bombing in Tavistock Square. The phlebotomist who usually takes my son's blood tests said that the hospital (which has no A&E facilities and isn't even licensed to deal with adults) became like a garrison M.A.S.H. style place for the day, with trolleys all around and unimaginable carnage.

My whole family was in a flap trying to get hold of each other when all the mobile networks went down....it was horrible.
