Given that there were only 191 posts in the Winter Olympics thread and as yet I've not seen any posts or threads for the Winter Paralympics I was wondering if our interest in everything Olympics has waned?
I for one did not watch any WO and have not seen any WPO either, the only information I have is from morning news bulletins.
I would appear that we aint doing too bad as I keep hearing we are picking up the odd medal.

It's interesting that I also don't care for Rugby and Golf, but I do once every 10-15 years watch Wimbledon.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sochi 2014! Maybe I spent more time viewing than posting about it?
In the past I have dipped in and out of the Winter Olympics and maybe just watched the ski-jump, downhill or bob slay â but on this occasion I found the games compelling viewing throughout. Also, I took notice for the first time of newer, high-flying exciting disciplines, such as freeski and snowboarding. For me, these newer sports display elements of skateboarding and BMX and feel a lot more accessible than the traditional Alpine or Nordic disciplines.
My olds still reminisce of staying up late to watch Torvill and Dean perform Bolero and I suppose that performance for many was the high water mark of GB Winter Olympic participation.
I normally watch some of them both , but haven't really got into it fir some reason this year ...
I found it difficult to get into them this year too. A combination of other commitments and inconvenient times for a lot of the events I might have been interested in meant I saw very little of the WO.
