BBC say press the red button to watch other sports. I normally have the red button but it`s not there for this. Is it there for you?

The Red Button Channels can usually be dialled directly. I get it on 301.

I think the menu comes up when you press the red button, even if there is no indicator on the screen.

No problem Fluffy. I`m with Virgin. 301 channel comes up "Tips for 2014" I`ve never seen before.  What do you mean... you can usually dial them directly?

Using the remote conirol....as in:-

If I want BBC1 I kei in '1'

If I want STV/ITV I key in '3'

and so if I want the main red button channel I key in '301'. I think that's the channel number for Freeview. If I want all the options I would press the red button on the remote while I'm watching sport on one of the BBC sports programmes and the 'Red Button Menu' should open on the screen.

I don`t have Freeview Fluffy. None of that works for me but thanks for trying   I`m waiting in the queue for advice from the Virgin helpline.  Fingers crossed

Thanks Fluffy.  Simply had to switch off and reboot the box.   The red button is back. 

Ladies curling again, GB v Canada. Still just the Round-Robin matches. Will be on, unterrupted (I believe), on the red button from 10:30

It was GB v Canada. GB almost won, but Canada stole it on the last end.

We were 2 behind going into the last end and we had the hammer. Last stone and we were looking at a fairly safe 2, to level the score and take it into an 11th end....or a slightly risky shot to give us 3 and win the match. We went for the risky shot which unfortunately didn't pay off and gave them 1 and the match.

I was flicking from BBC1 to BBC2 and never saw any of it. Can`t understand how I missed it cologne
