Andy Roddick very gracious
I know - he made me cry
...... and me.
I so wanted it to be his year this year. With Rafa out, I really thought he could do it. Still, he gave Federer a run for his money but, regrettably, it's a case of 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' again this year for Andy.
Pleased he said he'd be back next year.
Well done to both men though for such a gruelling match. 4 hours 16 minutes - phew!! Shame they couldn't both win.

Andrew Castle, worst commentator, EVER
Totally agree. He was a shite player, and he's an even worse commentator!
I'm bitterly disappointed for Andy Roddick, he played an amazing tournament and I thought he deserved the trophy more than Fed today.....but Fed got those important few points, well done to him.
It's such a shame Andy made those errors in the second set tie-break.....I wonder what might have been if he'd won that.....he just seemed to seize up with nerves. Poor guy, this could've been his best chance, I really hope 2010 is his year.
I think that was one of the most exhausting matches I've ever sat through! Can't really say I enjoyed it much, lol.
Roddick v Hewitt was my match of the tournament, with Haas v Cilic a close second. Wimbledon's been awesome this year, I'll really miss it tomorrow.
