Women's draw - GB players:-
Konta v Jankovic (16)
Robson v Kirilenko (10)
Baltacha v Pennetta (both unseeded)
Watson v Keys (both unseeded)
Moore v Kanepi (both unseeded)
Murray v Giorgi (both unseeded)
Keothavong v Muguruza (both unseeded)
So given that^^^^ - Konta and Robson should be out after the first round and Baltacha, Watson, Moore, Murray and Keothavong MAY get into the second round, but not a great deal further.
It must be a bit disheartening at times to see your expectations are so low.
However, if they did all make it to the second round, I belive their opponents would be:-
Baltacha - Azarenka (2) or Koehler
Konta - Wickmeyer or Dolonic
Robson - Duque-Marino or Georges
Watson - Barthel (30) or Niculescu
Moore - Mattek-Sands or Kerber (7)
Murray - Voegele or Cirstea (22)
Keothavong - Larsson or Makarova (25)

Women's draw - GB players:-

It must be a bit disheartening at times to see your expectations are so low.
Kirilenko is a good player and in decent form at the moment (QF French)... but she has suffered 4 first round Wimbledon defeats during her career.
Come on Laura!
having rested from the french open and going on last weeks playing at Queens Andy is in perfect form to win the title this year
Kyle Edmund looks like a good British prospect â but I doubt he will make an impact in the senior ranks just yet.
Murray seeded ahead of Federer and Nadal?
Yup! It's all to do with the way the world rankings are worked out.
Even Ferrer is seeded higher than Nadal, even though Nadal beat him in the French Open Last week.

Yes, he's been doing quite well recently, but probably doesn't have the necessary strength and resilience yet.
How they hell is anyone going to keep up to date with BB and Wimbledon and still have time to do the usual daily things!!
God help anyone who watches the ITV "talent" shows and is planning a holiday away!
Murray seeded ahead of Federer and Nadal?
Yup! It's all to do with the way the world rankings are worked out.
Even Ferrer is seeded higher than Nadal, even though Nadal beat him in the French Open Last week.
The world rankings are based on the cumulative points won in the previous 12 months. As Nadal was out of the US Open and the Australian Open due to a combination of injury and illness his ranking fell. He had a disastrous Wimbledon last year. The chances are that by the end of Wimbledon this year he will rise to either 2 or 3. I think that if Murray meets Nadal in the semis and loses he remains as second in the rankings with Nadal as third if Nadal loses in the final but drops to third with Nadal as second if Nadal wins the final. Of course Federer is likely to meet Nadal in the quarter finals and Federer will need to win that, the semi and the final to avoid dropping in the rankings.
Current rankings with points:
1 Djokovic 11,830 2012 Wimbledon points 720
2 Murray 8,560 2012 Wimbledon points 1,200
3 Federer 7,740 2012 Wimbledon points 2,000
4 Ferrer 7,220 2012 Wimbledon points 360
5 Nadal 6,895 2012 Wimbledon points 45
Points given:
Lose in first round 10
Lose in second round 45
Lose in third round 90
Lose in fourth round 180
Lose at quarter final 360
Lose at semifinal 720
Lose at final 1200
Champion 2000
I'll have to go to work the first week, but I have the second week off! YAY, lucky me.
How they hell is anyone going to keep up to date with BB and Wimbledon and still have time to do the usual daily things!!

'Tis amazing, but I somehow always seem to manage it. Though I don't watch the other 'talent' shows or any of the soaps.

Come on Bartoli !!!
There are 6 parings with GB interest in the Women's Doubles and they will meet seeded opponents in the 1st or 2nd rounds:-
Keothavong/Konta v No 1 seeds in the first round
Slater/Whybourn v No 16 seeds in the 2nd round
Murray/Windley v No 6 seeds in the 2nd round
Robson/Raymond v No 7 seeds in the 2nd round
Watson/Jugic-Salkic v No 11 seeds in the 1st round
Moore/South v No 14 seeds in the 2nd round

No Mixed Doubles draw yet.
Men's Singles:-
According to the seedings Andy Murray's 3rd round opponent will be Tommy Robredo, the number 32 seed.
That could be a very interesting match - given Robredo's heroics at Roland Garros.
Anne Keothavong is scheduled to play a qualifying match this afternoon.
Trivia: Of the elite Brit female tennis players (Robson, Watson, Konta, Keothavong & Baltacha)âĶ Anne was the only one born on mainland UK!
On paper, Djokovic's journey to the final:-
1st round - Mayer (unseeded)
2nd round - Unseeded Player
3rd round - Charday (28)
4th round - Hass (13)
Quarter Final - Berdych (7)
Semi Final - Ferrer (4)
FINAL - Murray(2)
On paper, Murray's journey to the final:-
1st round - Becker (unseeded)
2nd round - (unseeded player)
3rd round - Robredo (32)
4th round - Tipsarevic (14)
Quarter Final - Tsonga (6)
Semi Final - Federer (3)
FINAL - Djokovic (1)
However I think Del Potro will beat Ferrer and Querry could well beat both Gasquet and Berdych, thus a Djokovic/Querry QF and Djokovic/Del Potro SF
I further think that Nadal will beat Federer, giving us a Nadal/Murray SF.
Thus it'll be a close run thing as to whether Djokovic plays Murray or Nadal in the Final.
Puerto Rican prospect Monica Puig (@MonicaAce93 on Twitter) has just beaten No5 seed Sara Errani:
6-3 6-2
Big upset already!
------------------------------
Teenager Puig stuns fifth seed Errani
Elena Baltacha has gone out 6-4 6-1 to Flavia Pennetta of Italy.
Not looking good for Kyle Edmund - 2 sets down against Jerzy Janowicz of Poland.
Defending champion Roger Federer beats Victor Hanescu in three straight sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-0
Not looking good for Kyle Edmund - 2 sets down against Jerzy Janowicz of Poland.
Edmund went out in 3 sets but clearly did okay on his Grand Slam debut.
Nadal 2 sets down
He really doesn't like grass does he?
DARCIS COME ON !!!!
He won !!!!
Nadal out
That#s half of my prediction up in smoke already!

Lleyton Hewitt just dispatched no11 seed Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4 7-5 6-3.

Querry getting to the Quarter Final by beating Gasquet and then Berdych in the 3rd and 4th rounds.
Lleyton Hewitt just dispatched no11 seed Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4 7-5 6-3.
Lleyton Hewitt won Wimbledon in 2002 and has the capability of doing much better than his ranking suggests.
Heather Watson - Out!
Heather Watson was outgunned by American teenager Madison Keys to become the seventh Briton to lose in the first round at Wimbledon.
The 21-year-old from Guernsey went down 6-3 7-5 in the opening match on Court Two, leaving Andy Murray as the only British player so far to reach round two.
Laura Robson has won the first set against the number 10 seed and has just broken Kirilenko's serve in the second
And it gets better as Laura Robson has broken Kirilenko's serve again and is leading in the second set 4 games to 1.
Lleyton Hewitt just dispatched no11 seed Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4 7-5 6-3.
Lleyton Hewitt won Wimbledon in 2002 and has the capability of doing much better than his ranking suggests.
I love Lleyton H - used to detest him when he was a youngster as he was a proper sulky brat - he has matured - a real fighter - goes for everything - I like that in a tennis player.
Laura Robson has beaten the number 10 seed Maria Kirilenko 6-3, 6-4
I was beginning to think that Andy Murray would be the only Brit to get through the first round!
Well done Laura Robson - that is an impressive win!
Does anyone know who she will face next?

Cheers MrsH!
The benefit of beating a top seed in the first round â you get an easier (on paper at least) opponent in the next round!
Maria Duque-Marino is ranked 117 in the world so Laura Robson will be favourite to win. But she beat Julia Goerges who is ranked 36 and Laura Robson is ranked 38.
Seeds tumbling like ninepins today!
All the seeds are schduled to play unseeded players in bothe the first and second rounds. So if you've beaten a seed in your first round match then your second round match will be against another unseeded player, so theoretically it shoud be an easier match.
On paper all third round matches should be between seeded players. So if you are an unseeded player in the third round there is a possibility that even if you are playing a seed, it could be a lower seed than the one that you beat in the first round - but there are several possibilities here, including that the third round is the first time you meet a seed or even that you get through to the fourth round without having played a seed at all!
What a shame - Steve Darcy (sp) the guy who beat Nadal has gad to withdraw because of a shoulder injury .....I bet he's gutted. At age 29 - will he ever get a chance like that again? Shame.
I watched Puig vs Soler-Espinoza on the BBC website earlier:
6-2 5-7 6-4
Monica Puig powered her way to the win but it was a much harder match than her shock victory against Errani on Monday. Still, sheâs into R3 at her first Wimbledon â having also made R3 at her first French open just a few weeks ago.
What a shame - Steve Darcy (sp) the guy who beat Nadal has gad to withdraw because of a shoulder injury .....I bet he's gutted. At age 29 - will he ever get a chance like that again? Shame.
Doubtful! He must be gutted.
Azarenka pulls out of Wimbledon
Victoria Azarenka is one of five players to pull out of Wimbledon on Wednesday after failing to overcome a knee injury.
Ivanovic knocked out in second round
Number 12 seed Ana Ivanovic is knocked out of Wimbledon, losing 6-3 6-3 to world number 66 Eugenie Bouchard.
Bouchard is a promising Canadian - one to watch out for.
No.9 seed Caroline Wozniacki loses 6-2 6-2 to Petra Cetkovska.
Not sure Wozniacki exiting early is a shock or a surprise though...
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has now withdrawn due to injury.
That's a shame - so many injuries today.
The number 3 seed Maria Sharpova out beaten 3-6, 4-6 by Michelle Larcher de Brito.
Hacker T. Dog - from the BBC LiveSport feed earlier today.
Comfortable win for Andy Murray beating Yen-Hsun Li 6-3, 6-3, 7-5
His 3rd round match is against the 32 seed Tommy Robredo.
Weather at Wimbledon not looking good from Thursday early evening and much of Friday with rain forecast. Drier by Saturday onwards.
Nadal out in the 1st round... Federer out in the 2nd round - this is crazy; but surely increases the chances for Andy Murray?

I will agree if Djorcavic (sp) goes too

Djokovic is my favourite, hope he carries on.

Nope!
Due to the forecast rain today at Wimbledon, Laura Robson's match postponed from yesterday will be the first match on Centre Court (1pm atart) and Andy Murray's match will be the third.
Comfortable win for Laura Robson beating Mariana Duque-Marino 6-4, 6-1 to get to the third round at Wimbledon for the first time. Her third round match is against Marina Erakovic (world ranked 71).
A further (but less dramatic) upset in the men's singles as Janowicz (the number 24 seed) beats Almagro (the number 15 seed).
Andy Murray's match further delayed as they close the roof again and get the atmosphere adjusted. It was achieved quite quickly, so the match is due in around 10 minutes.

Although Murray won his first two matches in straight sets against unseeded players, it seems to me that they were harder matches than this one, against a fellow seed, is turning out to be.
