Yes, If she had been able to raise her game a bit earlier, we might have been going into a 3rd set, even if the end result might not be any different to what we have now.

I don't care who wins BB

BARTOLI won Wimbledon !!!

I was rooting for Bartoli and really pleased she won.

Though Lisicki is lovely and hopefully at just 23 she'll get more chances.

I've never been so erm ... emotionally involved in a game.

I love Bartoli (not sure why) perhaps it's that she's very unconventional and classed as an outsider for so long - an outsider amongst the tennis fraternity.

Her style, training, relationship with her Dad is all engrossing and above all ... she's a fighter against the odds.

She said herself  - she's not blonde enough, not tall enough and not thin enough to be a poster girl for tennis - so i salute her for rising above it all to win.

Bartoli managed to dodge playing anyone seeded higher than herself… also unconventional!

And thank God for that.

This was probably Bartoli's only chance to ever win Wimbledon.

You can only beat your opponents. Those who fell for whatever reason is nothing to do with the winner. 

Agree - Bartoli faced a worthy opponent. Lisicki was fave to win.

On the day Bartoli rose to the occasion like a champ and trounced Lisicki.

My only regret was that i wasn't in the crowd to cheer her on
