To round off things from yesterday's tennis:-

Kyle Edmund pulled things round and won his Boy's Singles match 2 sets to 1.

He and his partner also won their Boy's Doubles match.

He's looking like a good prospect for the future.

Men's Semi-Finals day:-

First up, at 1pm, we have Djokovic v Del Potro. Potentially this is a very tight match as we are talking 1st seed against 8th seed, but we have seen things fall apart before!

2nd match is Murray v Janowicz. On paper this is an easy match for Murray as we are looking at seed 2 v seed 24, however Janowicz has been playing to higher than that and might be a bit less of a push-over than the rankings/seedings might suggest.

The Murray/Janowicz match is pencilled-in for 4pm, but it's actual time will depend on how the Djokovic/Del Potro match plays out.

Del Potro beat Djokovic to the Olympic bronze medal last year, so it should interesting.

As I said to hubby, if Djokovic/Del Potro goes to 5 sets and umpteen games each (and there's a strong potential for that), we could still be watching it at 5 o'clock!

It annoys me that the commentators talk over the announcement of who won the toss and whether they have elected to serve or recieve first.
