It looks to me as if Lisa is going out of her way to start something ,she was determined to eat the food even though she and Karly used money to buy cigs. The buying of the shopping was not shown but from what has been said tonight Lisa/Karly made a deal to eat lentil and other free food in exchange for the purchase of Cigs.

They already think they are entitled to Kris's share of the food. Last night they each had a big bowl of frosties. Karly suggested that they eat everything in the fridge.

Lisa just hates it when the house gets on ,I am not surprised this arguement happened.

Really? I do hope she goes this week, then Lisa will have no puppet - why don't they make soups out of whatever they have, as long as it's hot it's filling and will last between meals. Every year I'm surprised at the fact no one has any common sense with regard to food - at least 'Gos' in BB? kept a pan of soup even gruel going to see them thro'.
I'm more suprised at Lisa, for someone who would not have alot to spend in the outside world, you'd think she would be more inventive with food.
To be fair you could accumulate food much better back then. They take away any left over food each week now to make it harder on them. I also remember a chef critisicing Gos for not using the budget better. Hehe how times change.quote:Originally posted by gma:quote:Originally posted by Heartache:

What happened to the days when they used to make bread?
Last year they had a veggie patch but they destroyed it by fall on it drunk and ruining the veg - couldn't see this would supplement their basic budget

Food will be now subject of rows yep especially now the lines are drawn and its clear there is two sides to the house.
They will just guarantee to annoy all the non smokers though and make sure the public keeps voting for them

They did get quite a few things from it. Rachel looked after it a lot and Rex decided when and what to use from it when they more needed it.quote:Originally posted by Pengy:

Far too sensible to make your own bread and pizzas etc...

True, I forgot how they could accumulate their food. But I'd surely get a pan on and judge the timing better than they do. If only to snack in between meals - a few lentils/chick peas/basics here and there could make a pan of soup asap.
Soup is a really good idea and cheap. Also spicy noodles and rice dishes. Rice really fills you up, I was told Chinese traditionally eat the rice last in a meal to fill them up. Also making pizza bases is dead cheap and dead easy a bit of tomato paste and mozzarella on top, maybe an egg and sliced tomato . Its the meat that really costs the money.quote:Originally posted by gma:quote:Originally posted by CaptVimes:To be fair you could accumulate food much better back then. On LF last night they were chatting about something happening earlier(?) they said something along the lines of..'Thats why Lisa kicked off about the food,it was always going to happen', something like that . So hopefully it will be shown on hls IF it happened.

Exactly! Meat costs, unfortunately for meat eaters. As a veggie I can make things tasty with ingredients people wouldn't imagine - sounds sad but true. Many a friend have wondered how 'I survive'? They're just lazy with no imagination - surely if you're going into the house you'd check these details out? Or are we FM too intelligent for BB? My husband loves meat but even he can't believe how they have to eat meat orientated food/meals all the time.

good point gma, I'm a veggie also, this group of HM's don't seem to have a clue when it comes to cooking etc
Lisa just thinks she can do anything she wants, and no one is to question her or challenge her, and whoever does challenge her immediately becomes her enemy...Little Despot!
Lisa will cause arguments for the rest of the week and try to blame noirin as she needs to save karly and dogface if she can.
food is short so its a easy way to cause a ruck int it.
