Day 50: Money, money, money
Today, Big Brother placed the ÂĢ100,000 prize fund in the House for all to see. Itâs clearly got the housemates excited: and whether they like to admit it or not, they may well be starting to think of how the sum of money might change their lives. With this in mind, earlier on Big Brother decided to test the housematesâ feelings towards money. What was discovered in this was rather shockingâĶ
Louise was earlier called into the diary room to answer a series of questions about the other housematesâ financial attitudes. 7 questions were asked in total: all of which could be answered with one of the current housematesâ names. Louise seemed to think that Aaron was quite the big spender, believing that heâd spent ÂĢ155,000 on a car amongst other things: but she was wrong on this count. She clearly showed too much faith in her sweetheart Jay, who was the frivolous one in that situation. Aaron wasnât too innocent in all this: the contract manager did spend ÂĢ600 on a singular bet.
A couple of Big Brotherâs questions got a little more controversial after this point. The housemates discovered through one of them that in her time as an air-hostess, Alex short-changed a blind woman that was buying food in order to buy her own lunch! Needless to say, the housemates werenât all particularly impressed by this fact. Louise further surprised the housemates with her answer to it by immediately jumping to the conclusion that it was Jay that short-changed the lady. Giving a reason for this, she simply stated that she knew heâd lived abroad for a while: Jay wasnât too pleased at that one!
In the end, Louise answered 4 out of 7 questions correctly. This won the housemates drinks and a celebration later. There will be one housemate that wonât be celebrating, though, and you still have time to decide which one you want to save, You can vote here.
