Dolly's cat Mr Jinx has gone blind  I don't care for cats but I'm used to hers...

AwwwOur cat went blind ....but she managed quite well ...except when she head butted the cat flap not realising it was shut

Yeah, one of mine went blind too and had other ailments so it wasn't fair to keep him alive at the end. I had to 'let him go'

AwwwOurs had mini strokes too ....but vet said she wasn’t in any pain , so we just let her be ...she was about 17 .....in the end she simply laid down under her favourite tree and went to sleep peacefully Had to have another one put down though , it was awful

she won;t hesitate if she thinks he's suffering...she's boarded the gates up so he can go out on the patio but he can't jump up at the gate because he can't see...so he's still enjoying the sunshine without being in danger of wandering off and being in danger.
