Why does he need to do this ....why not just stay away from them

My brother's combined the two....original Geordie accent + New Zealand accent. He now talks like you can't understand him  Or at least he did the last time I saw him a few weeks ago and he buggered off back to Australia (where he now lives) without saying goodbye...hey ho

I have a friend from Sunderland living on North Island, New Zealand, she has the poshest, Sunderland/New Zealand accent I have ever heard ...it's mad
