On 25 January 2007 dominant female, and Rufus' grandmother, Flower died from a snake bite. He and his litter-mates survived their first few weeks and started to foraged with the adults.

Flower pursued the snake below ground and was fatally bitten on the head. Flower was weak from her abortion and the lack of food, and was unable to survive the bite. She sadly died on January 25, 2007, lying in the entrance to the burrow. She had been the Whiskers' dominant female for nearly five years.

I saw a man shooting his gun to scare a Zebra that was attacking a lion, I thought that was wrong...the lion tried to attack it
