Yes, I used to go and meet my mam from school (she worked in shoe factory) and she used to buy a comic for me every day to read in the canteen until she finished work and we'd go home together. She used to get me a hot chocolate out the vending machine too to drink while I was reading

I buy my son a Beano annual every Xmas .....have done for over 20 years
