Not sure I’d want a house that close to the Mississippi...knowing how prone to flooding it is

Having said that, I did have one called Ben.  (I hadn't thought about Bob at that time)

floods here are nothing like other countries Pam, we have a few feet of water in houses, whole communities are swept away when the likes of the Mississippi breaks its banks. You only have to look at the flooding after hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005 thousands displaced and house never rebuilt
