I was watching that programme with the two guy's out of James Herriot series doing a classic car trip around Scotland.

It had me thinking, If I wanted to drive to Loch Ness, how long would it take. 7h 30 mins.

So if I leave Sheffield at 6am I will be there by 1.30. I can have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, nip to the loo and if I set off by 3.30 I can be home by 11pm.

Only one loo break?

Yes, or my timings will be completely out the window.

When we were on holiday we hired a car, and my DiL carried an empty small bottle for water...in case my grandson got caught short on the trips.
