Don’t worry it will be staying in the kitchen til I’m sure it has got the hang of the litter tray 

we kept ours in the kitchen at first but never had any problems with the litter tray

I did that with mine, and them introduced them to the cat door 

yes we left her indoors for a bit  but tbh but she became bored so we got a catflap  - she is really happy coming in and out

Yes , we are going to keep her in for a month ....then replace the old cat flap with one of those microchip ones ....save any unwanted visitors
