I wonder why she was so upset then?

It was the only way to turn the attention on herself. And throw a barrel of water over everyone else's happiness.

Yep!

But why do Endemol have to show her in a message as I said, it could have been done privately.

Why should they? They sign up to go into the house, with no communication from the outside world.. UNLESS its important. Endemol have care teams that keep in touch with the families on a daily basis if necessary.

The message from home is a part of the entertainment. Bea shouldn't get special treatment just cos her mum isn't a media whore like she is.

And very pleased she was that BB didn't coerce her mum into appearing ( don't think). As a loving daughter, she didn't care for her mum's feelings, nor her friend's, come to that.

Absolutely... I'd be really upset if I was her mum (well obviously I would be upset if I was her mum.... but just looking at this particular incident).... she made her mum look bad, and probably made her mum feel bloody awful.

If MY mom had not come on, and it had been my mates, I would not have thought anything of it. I think Bea does not have a good relationship with her mom... it actualy shows in how upset she is... IMHO...

Cheeky Pixie, I think you've hit the nail on the head. There's obviously a lot wrong in Bea's world, nobody gets that messed up without a reason. I suspect Bea's relationship with her mother is a less than happy one and that in fact she's not a spoilt brat but a child (in a woman's body) who craves her mother's love and affection and whose behaviour is symptomatic of that. Not justifying it, just trying to explain it.

I don't agree. For one I don't think I don't think relatives/family should be part of the entertainment. The HMs are meant to be the show and not relatives/friends. Also Endemol don't really care about HMs care outside the house so what makes you think they care about others related to them? And I have no doubt many times in the past Endemol have given PRIVATE messages to HMs in the DR about something important with their relatives.

What about the special treatment Sophie got concerning an EX housemate who just got a bit more airtime tonight?

I don't think that relatives should be part of the show either... but they are.

I don't think that Sophie should have got a special message from Kris (although it kinda balances out all the digs she has had from Bea, and Makosi about his behaviour on the outside).

They do give important messages. But this wasn't important.

Its imperfect... but the housemates all break their necks to get into this imperfect telly show... they desperately want it.

I don't see any point in trying to speculate about her life and her family outside the house. We know nothing and I definitely don't think that it's my business.
