Haven't seen you for ages PP, hope you're well.

As to neighbours - I can't even begin on that subject or I would never stop. I do think that a lot of the escalating stress levels in this country can be linked to the fact that we are living in closer and closer proximity with our neighbours. That combined with bad soundproofing and toothless councils/police etc is a recipe for disaster

What was the point of your apology the other week?  Every time I have dared to post since then you have done nothing but make sarcastic comments - please if you have nothing nice to say to me don't say anything at all and then we can all be a lot happier!!

I'm good thanks just very busy - hope you're good!

It's constant as soon as thir folks go out their chavvy friends are round and evry other word is a swear word or they play a ridiculous noise which I believe they call music.

P

I'm ok thanks PP.

If it is teenagers who are doing this when their parents are out then maybe the parents aren't aware of what is going on. Could you have a word with the parents when you bump into them? Or maybe have a word with the kids directly - obviously not when they have their mates round and are carousing as they will probably get lippy just to show off in front of the crowd but if you see them during the day. Maybe just ask if they are aware how much sound carries and how you can hear not only their music but their conversations too and ask if they could keep it down a bit.

Good luck

People just do what the hell they like these days

As we are in a detached house we don't have noise through walls, fortunately, but the noise coming from some peoples gardens especially in the summer is ridiculous!

We are the type of people who are conscious of not making noise but I wonder why we bother sometimes

I think we are probably a noisy family ...............not OTT but when we all get together we produce some volume. We've never had complaints at home at least! On holidays in the past we have had complaints year after year (we used to meet up with friends in France) ....................we are late night people and as I say we are not OTT but probably a bit noisy!
