what do you mean cologne? where?
On this forum barney. Suddenly our ID is above the post instead of beside it and there's quite a big amount of space being wasted. I don't get why the forum appearance has to be changed so often. Since the last overhaul, I can't quote, unless I go onto FF, where it doesn't refresh unless I make a point of it myself. This whole forum was and was supposed to be easy and for us, now it's all bloody changing every 5 minutes.
oh, i see,
i have been missing for quite a while so it has changed a lot for me, didnt realise it was only a recent change
Yesterday, I think barney. I can't quote anymore since the so called 'big overhaul'. which I don't understand because I don't see a difference, other than cosmetic.
oh right i didnt realise there was a change
i am on firefox
I think it must just be IE Cologne
I'm on IE and everythings fine on mine. Not sure what could be wrong with yours Cologne.
it will depend on what version of IE is running, it might be a version that is unsupported here...
I generally use Firefox but if I switch to IE 8, I get the same result as Cologne. I also get a message saying that the browser is no longer supported and to update to a modern browser.

Me too, everything looks the same to me.but just checked out the site on IE and it looks more or less the same as on Firefox.

Me too, also having problems with videos again on here.
I'm on IE and my willy has never been the same since
I use FF for here and had problems with videos loading in the music thread last time I tried. Had issues with posting pics of Jensen Button last night too which took the right piss. One should NEVER have problems posting pictures of aesthetically pleasing men *kicks Gaga in the knackers*
I think it's something to do with combinations of operating systems as well as programmes. I use IE7 at work and at home. At home on Windows 7 it's fine (apart from windows 7 and adobe flashplayer having a conflict so I can't play embedded media - nothing to do with Gaga) at work, on Vista everythings shoved over to the left and looks weird. However.. since I'm.... err... never really on here at work... I don't bother fixing it.

I get that message too, so have stopped using IE for this site, now use Google Chrome, but sometimes have bother with the flash player
Doesn't look any different on IE here Cologne Messed with display settings too to see if I could replicate it, but nup.. must be what Baffywumman says I think.

I've also just switched to IE8 (from FF) and it al seems pretty much the same - if anything, a bit bigger!

Switched back now and IE is definitely displaying bigger.
I was on an older computer when we where told to upgrade to a newer browser, I did and lost all my favourites, top and bottom task bars and several other things, so I'm not making the same mistake on this computer. Why should the updates interfere with our system and why update every week in the first place?

That's strange Cologne, upgrading shouldn't wipe your stuff out. Unless you deleted the old version and INSTALLED the new version, instead of upgrading TO a more modern version of the same browser.

I'm not sure there's been a change today Cologne , maybe best checking with them?
